Maria (RM 101)

Maria is a solid, all-around hybrid with top end yield. It handles itself well across farm management types. It has a tall, robust plant type that works well for silage. The girthy, semi-flex ear brings yield. Fungicides are not usually necessary. We recommend populations standard to the area. A good option for regenerative farming. (We’re super excited about this hybrid. We think Maria will set the standard for 100 day corn!) We prefer split applications of N. This hybrid responds negatively to over-applications of N! Add a sugar source to liquid N for increased N efficiency.

Pairs well with Kit (RM 99) and Scarlett (RM 103) in regenerative systems specifically. More general pairs are Madeline (RM 95), Hilda (RM 100), Harriet (RM 103), and Carlene (RM 104).
