Vera (RM 110)

A solid hybrid that performs well across a range of conditions. Try some!

Vera is a versatile hybrid that performs in a variety of situations, from low population to high yield contests.  Will yield with the best of them and dry down moderately fast.  Well-suited for regenerative agriculture conditions.  Can be used east to west.  Because of early flowering, Vera can be planted a bit later if required.  Strong against disease and stalk rots.  Vera is an all-around selection for most farms needing 110 day corn.

Pairs well with Janet (RM 110) and Olenna (RM 112).

  • Excellent grain quality
  • Huge flex ear that dried down
  • Flexes well: no need to push populations
  • Excellent stress tolerance
  • Very solid agronomics
  • Big plant with higher ear placement
  • Watch for Tar Spot and Northern Corn Leaf Blight.  Has good (but not excellent) tolerance to these
  • Very high yield potential
  • Moves south well
  • Moves east to west very well
  • Works well in low populations due to ear flex
  • Can be a great silage choice
  • Good in corn-on-corn situations
