Scarlett (RM 103)

Scarlett has a medium plant height with semi-upright leaf canopy and good staygreen. This hybrid has a very distinct and unique look to it. It flowers early for maturity. Girthy, semi-flex ears. It shows some susceptibility to common rust, but has very good tolerance to GLS, NCLB, and Tar Spot. Scarlett has very good grain nutrition and silage quality. A top choice for the dual purpose acres in addition to being a very good grain hybrid. Excellent product choice for regenerative farming. Really responds to and works with soil microbiology. Do not over-apply N! Scarlett is happier with split N applications and slow release N.

Pairs well with Kit (RM 99), Maria (RM 101), and Vanessa (RM 103) – all biology-friendly!
