Olive (RM 114)

Olive will win your heart and a place on your farm by being a hybrid you can count on. Not a real showy hybrid, Olive is suitable across soil types and works well east to west. Best on rotated acres. Watch for disease pressure when present in area, especially east; fungicide application may be required. Susceptible to Tar Spot – manage when present. Good staygreen in the fall. Olive brings consistent high yields and high testweights.

Good pairings are Olenna (RM 112), Vera (RM 110), and Janet (RM 110). Pair with Ruth (RM 110) in high input systems.
